Components of a successful conference event:

Teal Education’s leadership has been involved in organizing and developing corporate conference events for almost 20 years.  In that time, we have determined what are the necessary components to successfully produce a conference that is educationally up to the highest standards while offering the most significant networking opportunities

1. Agenda - A conference agenda needs to be chock full of information.  Comprehensive, distinct topics that do not replicate throughout the program.

2. Speakers - All speakers need to understand the importance of their talk being an “educational” speech and not a sales tool.

3. Marketing - the second most integral aspect of any conference.  Target marketing – who EXACTLY should be attending this event?  Use all viral tools to spread the word – email blasting, linkedin, facebook, twitter, and any other creative avenues to reach the right market.

4. Sponsors - sponsoring organizations (other than those offering in-house venues) will pay a fee to participate.  Sponsoring organizations are given preferential treatment and are awarded complimentary tickets to the event.

5. Media Sponsors, Associations and Supporting Organizations.  Though rarely is there monetary exchange, these groups can offer integral marketing support

6. Destination - if the event is held in a city (and not in an in-house venue), location is crucial.
